Michael Grove, CEO Michael Grove is the CEO and Founder of CollabWorks. He is an author and blogger on topics ranging from Collabsourcing™ to open innovation, open source, and IT 2.0. His industrial experience includes 5 successful start-ups, including 15 years as CEO. He has deep functional experience in sales, marketing, engineering, and program management in a broad range of businesses; including aerospace, renewable energy, M&A and turn-around consulting, semiconductor, systems management software, and non-profit activities. He has several patents to his credit and is the innovator behind the idea of Collabsourcing™ - next generation outsourcing. He was formerly the Founder and CEO of Open Country, a leader of remote systems management for Linux and Windows, where he developed global market penetration including India and China. Prior to Open Country, he founded and is still Chairman of Introplus, a community profile matching engine company. Prior to Introplus, he was the CEO and Chairman of the Board of MicroModule Systems, a Santa Clara company that grew from zero to $46M in revenue in its first five years. He has been an Executive Fellow at Santa Clara University, advising many young companies. His background includes M&A activity as Managing Partner of the Pathway Group and Director of New Commercial Programs at Lockheed. He holds a Masters degree from UCLA and two Bachelor degrees from California Polytechnic University. |

Phil Coates, Vice President Business Development Phil Coates is Vice President of Business Development at CollabWorks and heads the expansion of our business and partner programs worldwide. He has over 30 years of very successful high-tech sales management and marketing experience. He held senior positions in Sales and Marketing management at Sperry, now Unisys, and at Tandem Computers, now a part of Hewlett Packard. He was later Vice President of International Sales at Summa Four, now acquired by Cisco, and grew international revenues from scratch to $30 million in a three year period. He was Vice President of Sales and Marketing at GNP computers and grew their revenues to over $100 million in two years. In his most recent position he was Vice President of International Operations at Open Country. Phil speaks four languages and was educated at Cambridge University in Oriental Studies and also holds a BS degree in Economics from the University of San Francisco. |

Joe Tan, CTO Joe Tan is the Chief Technology Officer of CollabWorks. He is responsible for technology evaluation, architecture vision and technical integration of CollabWorks solutions. He has over 15 years of experience in software and internet application engineering. He was most recently an independent consultant for several Silicon Valley clients, involved in the design, architecture and implementation of custom internet applications, including a search engine evaluation system and an utilization-based financial billing system. He was previously the Chief Architect and Vice President of Engineering at Vividence, a Kleiner-Perkins and Sequoia Capital backed startup. For seven years at Vividence, he oversaw all aspects of technology and operations, including the acquisition by and technology integration with Keynote Systems (NASDAQ:KEYN). Prior to Vividence, Joe held technology leadership roles at NetObjects where he worked on TeamFusion 3.0, Fusion 3.01, 4 and 5. He also worked at IBM's Lotus Development Corporation in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where he worked on Freelance Graphics and brought Lotus FastSite, a website development tool, from concept to market. Joe holds a M.S. in computer science from Boston University and a Bachelor of Science in physics from Harvard. |

Mark French, Partner - Collab Exec Mark French is a Partner, Collab Exec with CollabWorks. He is responsible for Business Development and Program Management of CollabWorks networks. He has over 15 years of IT Program Management & Consulting and 10 years of experience in Sales Account Management. He was most recently an employee of Hewlett-Packard managing all operational responsibilities for a $2B National Retailer, responsible for Forecasting, Order Management, Returns, Collections and, EDI. He was successful in leading many efforts to be voted Best-in-Class. Previously as an IT Engineer he led Hewlett-Packard’s migration of business critical procurement, manufacturing, order management and distribution systems and served as an advisor to the General Management teams, co-developing their annual IT plans. Prior to Hewlett-Packard, Mark ran his own Consulting Company delivering hardware, software, process, and data structure solutions to a variety of clients in the Computer, Banking, Investment, Marketing, Fitness and Personal Computing industries. Mark holds a B.S.in Business Administration, Management Information Systems from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, California. |
